Blueprint Automation

                                                                Integrated Case Erector

Case erector for integrated use with BluePrint case packers.

This simple, integrated design, allows the user to minimize plant floorspace which is so often consumed with remote case erectors.

The case blank magazine is 4'-6" long and holds approximately 200 cases. Full mechanical control is exercised during the entire case erecting process for maximum reliability. One case blank is stripped from the magazine using a tried and true BluePrint Automation process, and opened using a reliable vacuum pull. The case is then mechanically squared prior to the folding of the minor flaps. A pair of mechanical flap closers then folds the major flaps, as the case is moved into the loading position. A case is always preformed and waiting, without the casepacker having to wait on a case being loaded.

                                                     Case Erector for Reusable Cases

Case erector for erecting re-usable cartons.

The BluePrint Automation re-usable case erector is a simple and reliable design. Cases are stacked on top of one another with each case blank in a horizontal orientation. An overhead vacuum unit lifts the top case to an unfolded hanging position. The top major flap is folded in first, followed by the simultaneous folding of the minor flaps. Finally, the bottom, major flap is pushed until the self locking tab snaps into place. After this, the case is moved to its proper loading orientation. The reusable case erector can be included as a stand-alone unit, or integrated into a BluePrint Automation case packer.

                                                                 Case Erector (RCE)

Now available in TWO CONFIGURATIONS! (available with right angle or inline magazines)

What does it do? Our case erector has the ability to fully erect a variety of case sizes and change its self over with a simple touch of the button.

How does it work? Unopened blanks are stored in 5' long magazine. Prior to being picked by the magazine, the blank is positively separated from the rest with a unique double-stripping mechanism.. The blank is then opened and transported through the flap folding stations. Lastly, the case is taken through a taping area where it is discharged, square and taped!

How productive is it? The case erector can erect and tape seal up to 15 cases per minute.

How is the changeover? Our case erector is the only commercially available, stand-alone unit available with a standard automatic changeover, allowing case sizes to be store in the PLC. With a simple touch of the button on the touch screen, the erector changes to the case size specified by the operator. Nothing is easier!

Why should I buy your case erector? No change over with costly tune-in period.  Few moving parts, mostly motorized resulting in lower maintenance.  Special design blank separation.  Blanks are positively separated from the rest of the magazine before the vacuum arm grabs the case. This is more reliable than the traditional system which relies on vacuum and precision to "roll" the case out of the magazine.
